Nadi Chikitsa

The gift of Mataji’s healing hands

There are 72,000 nadis in the Pranamaya kosha, or energy body. The 72,000 nadis are divided into three main branches – the left, right, and central nadis – Ida, Pingala, and Sushumna. “Nadi” is not a synonym for nerve. A nadi is a pathway or channel where “prana”, or life energy, flows.

There are 72,000 nadis, but none of them have a physical manifestation. As a result, if you cut the body and look inside, you won’t find them. However, as you become more conscious and aware, you will notice that energy follows established pathways rather than moving at random. The energy or prana moves in 72,000 different ways.

Nadi Pariksha is an ancient Ayurvedic technique of diagnosing diseases by checking the pulse. Besides diagnosing physical, mental, and emotional imbalances, it can also diagnose diseases. In contrast to treating symptoms, it is a non-invasive science that enables one to reach the root cause of health problems.

Mataji treats patients through nadi channels, without any use of medicine. Her way of approaching this treatment is very unique and shocking for the western world.
